Attackers sends out to users letters about voicemail in WhatsApp.
Experts of Trend Micro encountered samples of spammed messages that were supposedly WhatsApp notifications.
Spam campaign is aimed at the spread of viruses on multiple platforms, including Windows, Android and iOS.
Attackers send out letters to potential victims from the alleged developers WhatsApp. The message says that the user has received new voicemail. When the victim clicks on the button «Play» to play the audio, it is redirected to a malicious web-page.
